‘Don’t Worry’ to go on screen at I Will Tell filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Don’t Worry’ is to go on screen at 2020 I Will Tell fest in the UK.

Iranian short film ‘Don’t Worry’ is selected to go on screen at the 15th edition of the I Will Tell Film Festival in the UK.  

Written and directed by Mana Pakseresht, the short flick narrates the story of a teenage girl who is alone at home on her birthday due to self-quarantine. Her mother, who is a nurse, surprises her through a TV interview.

The only character in the film is played by Yalda Ramzi.

Pakseresht’s film has participated in a number of film festivals before, including the 10th  DYTIATKO Int’l Children’s Media Festival in Ukraine, the 4th Ramsagate Int’l Film & TV Festival in the UK, the 2020 Feminist Border Arts Film Festival in the US, and the lockdown edition of the Last Frame Festival in the UK.

The I Will Tell festival aims to show the films that have powerful stories. The event brings together films that present challenging perspectives.  

The upcoming edition of I Will Tell festival is slated for August 30-September 9, 2020.
